From December to February, Domaine de Lascaux invites you to an unforgettable experience: the black truffle (Tuber Melanosporum) of the Périgord! A wonderful moment in Dordogne, in the heart of the Black Périgord !

Truffle Hunting and stays are available !

We will hunt truffles in our woods and you will learn to look for truffles “fly”. This ancestral technique is a unique experience and requires special attention, a good flair and has only one rule: respect for nature. That’s why before the hunt, we’ll take the time to explain the few rules to follow during your experience. During the hunt, I’ll explain all the secrets of the truffle. You will learn how to recognize a good and a bad truffle, whether it is ripe or not and how to harvest it without damaging it. I will explain how to clean and prepare the truffle that we will taste in the evening. 

It is a journey back in time, a return to the roots of our flavors and traditions.

We offer you 2 packages:

• A Truffle Discovery package that will include a guide tour of the truffle farm, truffle hunting and fresh truffles tasting (50€ per pers)

A Truffle Journey Package that will include :

• A guided tour of the truffle and cavage
• 1 dinner 100% truffle with aperitif, starter and main course made from fresh truffle (wine included)
• 2 Nights in Double Room, including breakfasts (see our rooms)

200€ per person for 2 nights (double room base). It is possible to extend your stay (visit lascaux, discover the region…)
